|the house was in bad condition, with obvious structural problems, denatured in its original finishes from previous interventions.
the renovation, following a structural intervention on the floors, reconfigured typologically the original structure with a central corridor.
the project, recognizing the demands of clients for a large space to welcome guests and a room that could perform the function of studio at the present
|day and bedroom in the future, has led to a clear distinction between living and sleeping areas including in this last one the room with double function but with separate access from the living room.
the living room, with openings without doors, becomes the distribution area of the house, while the functional volumes separate and filter the living space from the sleeping area.
|to give continuity to the house we have opted for the same finishing in every room: large planks for a dark parquet and white walls. different finishings are been used in services, coated with dark tones, and in the kitchen with slate tiles and a wall black painted that has the ability to be used as a real board.|
